Maya the Golden, a 25-year-old songstress, has been captivating audiences since the age of 10. Drawn to pursue the intricacies of artistry, she began her journey writing short stories and dancing competitively. Growing up in Washington DC, she was engulfed in a theatrical family and immersed in a pulsating cultural mecca. The GoGo bounce beat paving the streets infused her formal classical music instruction at Duke Ellington School of the Arts where her talent was showcased alongside renowned legends such as Patti LaBelle, Sting, Paul Simon, and Kendrick Lamar. Maya the Golden went on to expand and further develop her artistic expression through creative direction, live show construction, songwriting, and production while studying at Berklee College of Music.
